Now that it’s November and the weather’s cooled off here in South Carolina, I’ve been playing around with my system settings to see if I can squeeze out a bit more off-peak savings. Since the AC isn’t running much anymore, my energy use looks totally different, and I’m wondering if it’s worth changing my battery discharge timing to cover more of the early evening load instead of mornings. Anyone else reconfiguring things for the season? I’m trying to figure out if it makes sense to keep prioritizing solar storage or start leaning on the grid more during cheaper hours. I’m not sure what’s actually saving me money now that the days are shorter and cloudier. Curious what everyone else’s setup looks like this time of year.
