Renogy inverter

I set up a Renogy inverter with 6 panels and a 120V system. DC and AC sides are both live, but the inverter won't start. All switches are on and wiring matches the guide. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

It can be a lot of things, so let's start with the most obvious one, the voltage. If the voltage from the panels doesn't match the DC input then t inverter won't start. While you're at it, you could also check the polarity of each one and make sure they're all right.

From what I know, if both sides are live but the inverter won't start, check the battery voltage with a multimeter, Renogy inverters need at least 11V to kick on. Also look for any fault lights or alarms that might mean it's in protection mode. Sometimes a loose ground or low battery can trip it even if everything looks good.

Most Renogy inverters won't start unless the battery voltage is within the required range, check your battery bank. Also, some models need a DC switch or remote switch to be closed even if the main switches are on
