I’ve been using my Bluetti for some weekend cabin trips up north, and lately it feels like it’s not holding charge as long as it did in summer. It still charges up fine, but the runtime on lights and small gear seems shorter. I’m wondering if it’s just the cold temps messing with the efficiency or if the battery’s starting to show its age after a year of use. Do your units act the same way in colder weather? I know most manuals say to keep them above freezing, but that’s not always possible out here. I’m curious how others are storing or using theirs once winter hits. Do you keep them indoors, or just let them ride it out in the cold?

Even a healthy Bluetti loses efficiency when the cells are cold, and the inverter itself gets a little less efficient too. If you can store it inside or even run it for a few minutes to warm the internals, you’ll usually see the runtime perk back up. Do you typically leave yours in the cabin all week, or bring it back home between trips?
mine dips faster too once the temps drop. I thought it was aging at first, but apparently lithium just hates the cold. I keep mine inside the cabin now instead of leaving it in the shed, and the runtime’s noticeably better. Still not as good as summer though.
