My pops lives in a very cold area, and somehow he uses around 60KWh/ day for the whole house. we talked about getting a battery backup system to run my whole house for at least a day, in case there is a power outage
I'm thinking about something that can be charged with grid power or with a generator, and that can swap to battery power automatically if there's a power outage
thinking about charging the batteries with wind and solar, and maybe send excess to the grid, but I dont understand how any of that works
is this possible? any advice or ideas for this, guys? thanks
