need advice here. I'm currently using Enphase IQ Battery 5P, it's okay, but I need something better.
what's the best home battery system? I prefer modular systems that have a ton of software support, being able to deal with adding more batteries in the system without having to deal with older, degrading batteries holding down the new ones
what are your recos guys?

A 12 kW solar array gives you lots of options for a battery upgrade, and most installers will tell you that modular systems help you expand later without leaving older modules stranded. The Tesla Powerwall 3 is popular for whole-home backup and has solid integration, and systems like Enphase IQ Batteries let you mix and match capacity in small chunks as you expand. Have you looked into whether you want an AC-coupled system or DC-coupled, and whether backup power during outages is part of your plan?

just an advice, but if you want the best software and modularity right now, the Tesla Powerwall 3 is something you should consider
unlike the PW2, the PW3 has an integrated solar inverter and is designed to be expanded
Tesla’s software is a clean, high power output setup that plays well with additions later

yeah, Tesla powerwall 3 is great, or check out EcoFlow if you're looking for an alternative.
it's easy to install, has transfer switches, good for specific backup needs without permanent installation.
