Does anyone know where the internal fuse is located on the SP6548 inverter? They included a spare with itt, but I cant for the life of me figure out where the original one is installed

That internal fuse on the SP6548 is the battery supply fuse, it connects right above the positive battery terminal inside the unit and it's tucked just above where the battery cables attach

correct! and I can relate with OP, it's super easy to miss that fuse since it's tucked away.
anyway, one tip for op @KumaPuma, you need to absolutely make sure you've disconnected the battery power before you open the unit and try to swap the fuse. you're dealing with high amps there, so a short is the last thing you want

On the SP6548, the internal fuse is usually inside the main inverter housing near the DC input terminals. You'll likely need to remove the cover panel to access it. Check the manual diagrams carefully, there should be a small fuse holder marked clearly, often near where the spare came packaged @KumaPuma
