Recommendations for a 12V inverter

I'm looking for recommendations on a 12V inverter. I already know that 48V systems are better, but I need a 12V unit for my home. I am looking for something that is at least 2,000 watts, but I would prefer a 3,000-watt model. I had a LiTime inverter before and it worked fine until it stopped turning on. They gave me a refund.

I am trying to figure out which brand to buy from this time. What are some of your favorite brands or models?

If you're trying to find a 12V inverter that will last, AIMS Power and Renogy are good brands to consider. They have strong 3,000-watt models and their customer support is pretty good, which is helpful if something goes wrong.

Both AIMS Power and Renogy are a step up in quality and support from your previous unit, so they're solid mid-tier choices. Just a quick warning though that running a 3000W inverter on a 12V system pulls around 250 amps continuously. You absolutely must use heavy-duty 4/0 AWG cables for that. If you want max long-term reliability and surge performance at that wattage, look into the low-frequency AIMS models, or save up for Victron. They cost more, but they are generally built better to handle those high currents without failing.
