monitoring Solaredge inverters

I need some help with my solar setup. My dad and I are trying to monitor our two SolarEdge inverters (a 5kW and a new 10kW one we just added).

We got it all installed and working, but we can only get one inverter to show up on the phone app.
We tried linking them with an RS 485 cable and making the 10kW the leader, but nothing changed.
SetApp says it found the other inverter, but we still can't see it on our phones. What are we missing here?

Do you guys have any tips on how to make this easier?

That's a common issue with SolarEdge multi-inverter setups. The RS485 connection is the right idea, but it sounds like you might be missing a step in the configuration. Try to double-check the RS485 wiring to make sure the A, B, and G wires are connected to the correct terminals on both inverters. Also ensure the termination DIP switches are on for both inverters, as they're crucial for signal integrity. Once that's confirmed, try running the Slave Detect function again in the master inverter's menu on SetApp. Sometimes it takes a few tries or a power cycle for everything to sync up properly and report data to the app.
