now everyones heading into fall here in Virginia, and my solar output’s definitely taking a hit with the shorter days. I’ve noticed my battery doesn’t reach full charge as often, especially on cloudy mornings. I’m trying to decide whether to switch charging priority to the grid during off-peak hours or just let the battery top off naturally during the day. What’s everyone else doing around this time of year? Do you tweak your charge/discharge schedule, or just let the system handle it automatically? I’m trying to balance savings with reliability for those random outages we still get around here.
