Some of the digital solar planning tools still seem to be showing discounted prices, and a few members have been asking whether these platforms are actually helpful for sizing or optimizing a home battery setup. The recommendations were close but still needed tweaking. Panel output estimates felt optimistic on paper compared to real days with clouds and short daylight. The battery sizing suggestion was reasonable though. It helped me ask better questions rather than make decisions for me.
