Are SolarEdge optimizers still worth it after a few years?

I installed a 7.5kW ground mount back in 2022 with SolarEdge optimizers because a few panels catch some tree shade in the mornings and late afternoons. Three years in, I'm trying to gauge if the added cost was really worth it.

Actually, the production numbers look good overall when I come to think of it, but I don't have a clear picture of how much the optimizers are reclaiming. Has anyone else run their system this long with optimizers and have some actual numbers to share? Please drop them here. It would mean a lot.

I've heard that SolarEdge optimizers can usually recover about 10-25% when panels are in partial shade. I think it's a good idea to take a look at your monitoring portal to see the individual data for each panel, which can help you figure out how much energy you're actually reclaiming compared to what you spent on the system.

That's way too much and it's probably some marketing thing, so I doubt anyone managed to reach that high. I'm guessing 5%, maybe 10% max, no more than that. To be fair I'd like to be proven wrong about this.

@The Rose The numbers you'll get from us will be all over the place and won't mean anything to you. Each situation is different and unique in terms of amount of shade, angle, stuff like that, so i think it would be best to do the math yourself and see if the investment was worth it.
