Since we are in the second week of December and a lot of people are juggling heaters, lights, and backup setups, I thought this would be a good time for a little honesty. What is one rookie mistake that taught you a big lesson about battery safety or load management?

Most of us have had at least one moment where we thought the system could handle more than it actually could. If you are willing to share, what happened and what did you learn from it?

My early mistake was assuming the battery could handle everything at once just because it handled it fine on paper. Turned on heaters, appliances, and charging without thinking about overlap. The system didn’t fail but it made it very clear where the limits were. After that, I started staggering loads instead of stacking them.
